OK the pictures are in!

I promised Christmas Rockband pictures would be up soon. Well here they are! Don't we look like a real rock band...as in we look STONED! :)

Get lost!

Ok, so I don't always want to get lost, nor do I want others to get lost, but I'm so HAPPY Lost is back on the air. Sadly, it was like a long "lost" friend who came to sit and hang out for the evening. I only watch ONE show EVERY WEEK and this was it. I really hope the writers strike gets over soon so that I can have a whole season to get lost!

Life is funny sometimes!

So a week ago I was skiing at Snowbird in 17 new inches of snow and today I rode my bike (indoors of course). I went and got all my toys from my great friends who watched my "life" while I was gone. (Boy, I'm a brat, kind of...too many toys.) It is most certainly still winter here so there won't be much riding outside right now, but I'm going to enjoy my indoor time. OH HOW I LOVE THE BIKE!

Movie review? or an interesting occurance?

Over the break I didn't have much time to do anything, but I did get out to see two movies. One of which was "I am Legend." Well, I thought the movie was just a shock, horror movie and not what I expected at all. (In fact i was kind of disappointed in Will Smith, but the doggie was great and very cute!) Then I decided I would read the book. Sort of backwards because most of the time we read the book then are disappointed by the movie. Had I followed tradition, I would have been severely disappointed by the movie because it deviated from the book SOOOOO much. But I'm glad I read the 1954 novel by Richard Matheson after seeing the movie. It wasn't the best book ever, and it is about some pretty out there ideas of "the end of the world." However, it addresses more of the psychological effects of thinking you were the last man on earth and how the main character deals with the "reality," everything I thought the movie was missing. Oh, and without trying to spoil it, there isn't a Hollywood happy ending like there was in the movie. It isn't a very long book, and if you would like to read a book that kind of keeps you on your toes, has twists and turns and delves into the life of (maybe a spoiler) vampires, you might enjoy this frivolous book.

Well, I'm back home now.

I had a great time working, skiing, and playing Xbox 360 (mostly Rockband, I highly recommend it)! But now it is time to get back to my real life, which I can't wait for. Here are some skiing/snow pictures from the crazy 5 weeks. There are some pictures floating around of my playing the drums on Rockband, when I get those, I'll post them. But for now, enjoy the pretty pictures.

The plane ride was uneventful except for an hour and a half delay because the first plane we had had a broken door. It couldn't close. I'm glad we switched planes :)!

Well, school, ice storms, and working in VT awaits me this week. I'm sure I'll have plenty to say and a few pics! Have a great week where ever you are! Love what you do, do what you love!

THIS was worth it!

It has been a while since I have written, not because I haven't had a lot of fun, but actually I've been so busy and tired. I had a fun time with Jendy and Davin in Connecticut, christmas at Kipper's, working through Christmas week and making a lot of money, losing my voice in the wind and cold for three days, and playing Rockband and NCAA 2008 football. Ok, so maybe I had time to do that but not enough energy to think about what to say on my blog. But after today's TWO runs, I feel rejuvenated! The storm that pounded my mom in California and left "feet" in the Sierra didn't give us THAT much, but it sure gave us enough. The next few days will bring us more snow, but today was great enough to make me happy.
