WOW, fall is here!

As some of you may have heard, it is SOO much cooler here: thank you Canada!

So that means it is REALLY starting to look and feel like fall. Some of the leaves are even turning which means SOON I will be able to experience a wonderful New England autumn! And you all know what that means...yep, PICTURES!

When I left my house this morning at almost 11 am it was still 48 degrees outside. Which means I had to bring out the long sleeve jersey on my ride. And I was only going to go for a little ride. Well, the weather was so great and the air so crisp and the trees so great, I had to keep going. And while just under 40 doesn't seem like it is THAT long, I included the elevation profile for you...see, we do have "hills" to work out on here. Notice how one seems to climb quickly on the profile? I tell you, it isn't any different on a bike. One minute you are just cruising along on a nice rolling road, you make a left and WHAM! UP UP UP. I calculated it was probably more than 2000 vertical feet of climbing. YES! Not like Utah, but not bad for New England! The two big humps are through a state forest (the first) and the second is through a very rural area with few people and lots of ponds. VERY PRETTY!

Oh and about school...well, I'm completely in the thick of it and having so much fun. I now stay at school most evenings till 6, working on numerous projects, helping others and just really enjoying what I'm doing. I'm sure sometime soon it will frustrate me, but for now...just loving the ride! :)
